ITALY WINS! with a 5-3 penalty though but still as nice... buffon still needs
penalty training afterall, he can barely predict the ball direction but else,
cutey teammate trezeguet failed the penalty kick once hoho.. barthez was better
in saving penalty kick but he was slower ^^
if u need a fair opinion is that: france scored the first goal with a
questionable penalty kick, which supposedly could not be any penalty at all..
The second goal is decent, matterazzi in a corner kick.. for the first half
everything looked amazing, seemed like it's okay to have many offside goals as
it did look like there were going to be many goals scored.. the 2nd half was
boring, extremely, to the extent that france was in control for most of the time
but no goals whatsoever, italy's cattenaccio was not effective.. blah blah.. a
few good chance for france yet no goals happen, france was not that good in
cornerkick either..
the 1st extra time... zidane decided to end his world cup soon by bumping his
head onto matterazzi's chest, a red card was issued here, after the referee
consulted with assistants *the first time i've seen in any matches* he was
caught red-handedly in camera-world wide Y_Y and believe me, he actually
deserved it.. even if he was indeed provoked he shouldn't have done such thing,
at least do it in clever way rite ^^ anyway, even with the absence of zidane, no
major changes in france's performance, still great.. they even almost scored
goal in the 2nd extra time..
penalty kick was terrifying.. buffon looked so pale, he had no experience with
penalty kicks before in world cup and well, he did not save the kick that good.
anyhow, all italian passes the goal beautifully, and france as well did not let
mistake run twice.. it's a shame for trezeguet coz i think his teammates had
done the best, but oh well, he was just not lucky- his ball hits the pillar *is
it rite?* and was out.. they had this humor that if italy loses, the mafioso
will assasinate them for losing their money on the bet, just like in cuba.. we
can only hope that, in france, the mafia is not that cruel ^_^
what make the feel of winning is not complete is that, italy did not play well
in the end.. hoho, if they played well and finished the match nicely then it
would be a great hit.. but uh oh.. totti and freundz need a rest! ^.^ not a
sweet world cup for france but all good for long lost italia.. where have u been
for 24 years? viva la italia everybody!
